Tehran, Dec 24, Taliya News – Highest proposed price in Second Auction on Round Mobile Phone Numbers is for 0912 222 2222 SIM card, at 300 million rials (around US $30,000), followed by 100 million rial proposed prices for 0912 100 0000 and 0912 500 0000 numbers.
According to Fars News Agency’s economic affairs reporter, the based proposed price for such numbers as 912 444 4448, 912 444 4449, and 912 222 2223, too, would be 75,000,000 rials (around US $7,500).
Also, numbers such as 912 499 9999, ،912 688 8888 and 912 599 9999, too, that are considered round numbers are put on auction at 70,000,000 rial base price.
Most round numbers put on auction are 09124 and 09126 codes and many of them are base-priced at lower than 22 million rials ($2,200), like 1,600,000, 1,500,000 and 1,200,000 rials.
The applicants for sound numbers can deposit their down payments from December 19th till December 27th and pay 50,000 rials per each requested SIM card for auction papers on Bank Melli Iran account number 90125 in order to participate at the auction.
The TCI Transactions Commission will convene the auction session at 9 am, January 13th, 2007 at MCCI Headquarters in the presence of legal officials, survey the received proposals and announce the names of the auction’s winners.
The deposits must be paid in a guaranteed check whose amount would be equal to 10% of the base price, exclusively in MCCI’s name.
