Talk Time & Credit Period

Q1. What is “Talk time”?
A1.Talk time is the Rial credit that a subscriber possesses in order to use the network. By purchasing a Taliya card, Subscriber may increase his/her talk time.

Q2.Why is Taliya Card price more than Talk Time mentioned on it?
A2.Price discrepancy between user price and price on Taliya Card is due to tax and duties that shall be paid to the government.

Q3. If prior to termination of Talk Time, Credit Period is terminated, then how will be the condition of unused Talk Time?
A3.If you purchase a new Taliya SIM Card during Credit Period and yet some Talk Time is remained, that remained credit will be added to your new Taliya Card. Thus, by timely purchasing a new Taliya Card, you will lose nothing.

Q4. What is “Credit Period”?
A4.Credit period is the period in which the subscriber can use his/her talk time.

Q5. How much Primary Credit is available on Taliya SIM Card and its Credit Period?
A5.Primary Credit available on Taliya SIM Card is RLS 200,000 and its Credit Period is 90 days..

Q6.If the subscriber doesn't attempt to increase his/her credit, then how will be his/her subscription condition?
A6.The subscriber may be in one of the three following states during his/her subscription period:
A) Active State: the subscriber will enter into Active State by making the first call and can use all of the accessible services.
B) One- Way State: when “Talk Time” and/or “Credit Period” terminates, the subscriber shall attempt to increase the credit within 15 days. During this period, the subscriber will only receive the short message and call, but he/she could have emergency calls and make a call to Subscriber Services Center. When the subscriber attempts to increase his/her credit by purchasing a new Taliya Card, and yet there is some “Talk Time” remained from the previous period, the remained credit will be added to “Talk Time” of the new card.
C) Inactive State: for any reason, if the subscriber fails to increase his/her credit while being in One-Way State, he/she will enter into Inactive State. During this period, all the services will be inactive, except the call to emergency centers, and the subscriber will be given a 15 days deadline to increase his/her credit. If the credit is increased, phone number will be preserved for the subscriber, but no credit will be transferred from the previous period to the new card. If the subscriber doesn't attempt to increase his/her credit, he/she will lose the phone number.

Q7.Does the phone number change after increasing the credit?
A7.No.
