Espadan’s request for 500,000 lines for delivery of 150,000 prepaid SIM cards

Isfahan, Feb 7, Taliya News – Isfahan Telecom Share Company, Espadan, has requested the RCRO for allocation of 500,000 free mobile line capacities in a bid to deliver 150,000 new Espadan SIM cards in Iranian New Year, 1386 (beginning on March 21, 2007).
Isfahan Telecom Share Company Managing Director, Seyyed Ahmad Sajjadi reiterated in an interview with CITNA, “The Radio Communications and Regulations Organization (RCRO) would soon issue that license and there is no problem in that regard.”
On geographical territory of Espadan SIM cards, he said, “Presently our network’s territory includes Isfahan Province, since out license is valid for regional activities but Isfahan Telecom Share Company has also filed a request for expanding its services at national level, because we are already capable of presenting our SIM cards throughout the country.”
Sajjadi said that Espadan SIM cards’ tariff is based on RCRO regulations, adding, “On that basis for each minute of talk long distance connections we charge 17 pulses, and for short distance calls that is 10 pulses.”
Isfahan Telecom Share Company Managing Director said that Espadan has 35,000 subscribers in Isfahan Province now, reiterating, “On our Special Sales Day 15,000 more SIM cards would be added to our clients.
Sajjadi at the end focused on the present added value services presented by that operator, saying, “In addition to regular mobile phone services we are now offering Hafez Horoscope, an English dictionary, and a guide to usage of the Glorious Qur’an to our SIM card subscribers.
