Tehran, May 11, Taliya News – According to current statistics, less than one hundredth of TCI stationary and mobile phone line subscribers are not willing to turn their deposits at TCI to that company’s shares.
Based on an ILNA report, TCI Managing Director Seber Feyzi announcing the statistics added in an interview with that news agency, “Those subscribers of the stationary and mobile phone lines that do not wish their deposits at the TCI to be turned into shares have till June 21st to refer to Telecom Centers and fill special form to receive them.”
He added, “After that date we would seek the public opinion till July 22nd, adopt decisions based on related laws, and harmonize with the Privatization Organization on how to offer the people’s ICT shares to them.”
Criticizing certain “inexpert” opinions made on the matter, Feyzi said, “Any viewpoint on ICT share transfer must be made in accordance with the monetary status of the buyers and the related legal documentation.”
