Delivery of 1st Operator SIM cards as of early July – MCI

Tehran, May 11, Taliya News – Managing Director of Mobile Communications Company of Iran (MCI) said here Monday new round of state SIM card deliveries would be gain as of early July, simultaneously with new round of their registrations.
Acc0rding to IT Desk reporter of IRNA, Vahid Sadouqi added Monday at a press conference that the price of new state SIM cards would be around 2,880,000 (above US $288).
The MCI Managing Director said that the 1st Operator has managed to deliver its SIM cards to applicants within less than a week during the past couple of months.
He added, “This volume of deliveries has been simultaneous with a 70% expansion of the country’s radio communication network thanks to increasing the BTS antennas’ number to 11,000, providing capacity for MCI’s some seventeen million mobile phone subscribers.
