Tehran, May 28, Taliya News – Isfahan Constituency MP said here Saturday in an interview with Fannavaran Persian language technological daily impeachment proposal of ICT Minister is finalized and he would most probably be impeached at Majlis General Assembly this week.
Mohammad-Hossein Estaki added, “Over 40 MPs have signed the impeachment petition of the ICT Minister, and that is enough for the purpose.”
He added, “At a session held late next week in the presence of the representatives that have signed the impeachment petition that the text of the questions to be delivered to the Parliament Presiding Board would be revised for a last time before delivering it to them.”
He reiterated, “If the next week session would be held without any problems the impeachment petition would be delivered to Majlis Presiding board in late June.”
Estaki reiterated, “The 500 billion rial (over US $50mn) decrease in base price for the billing system of the Mobile Communications Company of Iran (MCI) tender and winning of SaIran Company in that tender, the quality of mobile phone communications, buying low quality and second hand facilities are among the important topics of the ICT Minister’s impeachment.
