A new auction for a new operator

Taliya News - Aletesalat, which is in United Arab Emirates, and another Bahraini company would struggle in an auction to offer the operation of cell phones, the communication minister said.
Some of the Arabian companies, like Aletesalat and a Bahraini company, have requested to take part in an auction, in which Torkcell has requested too. Torkcell, whose third generation of cell phones has been produced recently, has requested verbally, said Mr. Soleimani.
Mr. Soleimani said the MMS Service which is eliminated by the decree of the High Cultural Council would be born in their mind when they are signing a contract with the approved operator.
The auction would be held during the last months of this year, and preliminaries are going to be prepared for the auction.
The Iranian companies must have 51 percent of shares according to the law, and the other shares would get to a foreign one.
There are 19 million users of cell phones in Iran now; 45 million would be added up to this number in the near future.
