Taliya News - Iran has entered a new era of mobile communication with five operators, getting six numbering licenses to develop the numbering system. The numbering of telecommunication system, which is based on the International Telecommunication Council standards, enabled the operators to offer various numbers, Isna has reported
The Regulation Organization deputy, Mr. Lotofllah Sabouhi said: '' The Regulation Organization is responsible over numbering according to the law. This is neglected as Telecommunication Company carried this heavy burden up to now.''
He said that Telecommunication Company of Iran has a project; according to which all the numbering procedure would be based on 09X. 091X is a state-owned number, while 093X belongs to the private sector, and 092 is reserved for the companies, for instance Isfahan operator got 0931, while Kish operator obtained 0934; Taliya got 0932, while Irancell got 0935 and 0936.''
He added that the numbering of the governmental networks is going to be done in Telecommunication Company as before, while the numbering of private companies would be carried out in The Regulation Organization.
Managing the numbering would be performed by the Regulation Organization in a near future.
