TaliyaNews - “No report has yet been sent from Turkcell to international sector of Communication and IT ministry,” said the president of international sector of Communication and IT ministry, who talked over the auction in which Turkcell was the bidder offering the highest price, but unfortunately it is refused.
Ahmad Pourangnia, who was unaware of any compensation asked, the amount of which is about 10 billion dollars, said: “It should be sent to the law office of Communication ministry or Regulation Arrangements Organization.”
He talked over the participation of Turkcell in the auction of the third operator if it is sustained in the trial to be imposed a fine, although no services would be offered to that as other bidders would protest. However, the second operator project has been finalized.
He spoke about the 49 percent of shares the foreign operator would have in the third operator project and emphasized on the accordance of the participation of Iranian companies as a consortium.
It is said that definite participation of Turkcell in the third operator auction was determined and promised before in order to resolve the issue; however, Turkcell was discontented as they failed to fulfill their promise.
They asked for the compensation from Communication ministry and their own partners, which are SaIran and Mostazafan Institue, as they do not like to work on the second project again.
