Country’s mobile phone culture in need of change
April 25, 2008 2:06 PM

A senior telecommunication expert believes the country’s mobile phone culture is in

need of change and that would entail training its users.
Mohammad Hussein Rahimi Zadeh, in conversation with MOBNA, said mobile phone users, especially the young, should undergo training in the proper use of SMS service, which may be a subject taught at elementary schools through to universities.
He indicated that the technology is mainly being used as a leisure time activity.
He said, however, that the practice could take a long time to have its desired effect.
He stressed there is widespread use of the technology in the public and private sector, ranging from commercials to religious, scientific and cultural messages.
